How-To add LinkedIn Cover Photo

Your Cover Photo appears behind your profile photo in your profile. You can’t upload or edit your LinkedIn Cover Photo from a mobile device (mobile app included), but you can make changes from the desktop site.

How to reposition, delete, or change a LinkedIn Cover photo

  1. Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Click View profile.
  3. Click the Edit icon in your profile.
  4. In the Edit intro pop-up window, click the Edit icon on the top right corner of the cover photo, and choose one of the following options: (i) Reposition to drag and reposition the image (option available on the image itself); (ii) Delete photo to remove the image; or (iii) Change photo to change the current background photo.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click Save.
